Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This
section covers cookies and similar technologies, such as browser
storage and tracking pixels, on nodenova.co.uk. The law (the Privacy
and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK GDPR) lets us set
essential cookies without asking; everything else needs your
permission first.
When you first visit, we ask whether you allow analytics and
marketing cookies. Until you choose, and if you choose "Essential
only", no analytics or advertising code from Google or Meta loads on
the page at all. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie
settings" at the foot of every page, or here:

NodeNova
Assessment page only, and only with analytics or marketing
allowed: keeps the campaign details from the link you
followed if you reload part way through, so a completed
assessment is credited to the right campaign.
We rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies, and on
our legitimate interest in running a working website for essential
ones. With your consent, Google and Meta receive details of your
visit: the pages you view, your browser and device type, an
approximate location derived from your IP address, and events such
as a completed assessment or a booked call. Google and Meta may
process this data in the United States, under the UK Extension to
the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual
clauses in their data processing terms. Google Analytics keeps this
data for no longer than 14 months.
Changing your mind
Use "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page. If you withdraw
consent, we stop loading the tags straight away and delete the
analytics and marketing cookies listed above from our domain. We ask
again after 6 months, or sooner if we add a new kind of cookie. You
can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking
essential cookies means we cannot remember your choice.
Delegated Authority Control Assessment
This section covers the assessment at
nodenova.co.uk/products/remit/assessment.
The controller is NOVA AI SW LIMITED, trading as NodeNova, company
number 16962401, registered office 5 Den Road, Teignmouth, Devon,
TQ14 8AR. Contact:
info@nodenova.co.uk.
What we collect
Your details: name, work email address, company
and role, and your answer to the optional question about how many
delegated relationships you oversee.
Your answers and result: the answers you gave, the
score and band they produce, and whether you allowed benchmark use.
How you arrived: campaign parameters (such as
utm_source) and ad click identifiers (such as gclid) from the link
you followed, the referring site and the page you landed on.
Abuse prevention: a keyed hash of your IP address,
never the address itself, and your browser type.
Email history: which emails we sent you and when,
and whether you unsubscribed, booked a call or an email bounced. Our
emails contain no tracking pixels and no tracked links.
Why we use it
To send your result, and to follow up with four
short emails over the next two weeks about evidencing delegated
decisions, then stop. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in
following up with people who asked for this result at work. Every
email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Benchmark research, only if you ticked the box: your
answers, without your details, in aggregated benchmark figures.
Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by
emailing us.
To keep the form from being misused and to learn
which campaigns lead to completed assessments and booked calls.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
The score is calculated automatically from your answers. It is an
estimate for your own use, and we make no decision about you based
on it. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's
marketing.
Who processes it for us
Hetzner hosts the website and the database on
servers in Finland.
Google Workspace sends and stores our emails.
Calendly handles bookings, if you book a call.
Google Analytics and Google Ads receive page events
such as a completed assessment, with your score, band and campaign
identifiers, but only if you allowed analytics or marketing cookies
(see Cookies). They do not receive your name,
email address, company, role or answers.
Google and Calendly may process data outside the UK, under the
safeguards in their own data processing terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your details, answers and email history for 24 months after
your last contact with us, then delete them. If you unsubscribe, we
keep only your email address, so that we do not email you again.
Deleted records leave our backups within 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it,
object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw consent for
benchmark research, by emailing
info@nodenova.co.uk. If you
are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office at
ico.org.uk.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under
the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that
Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We
become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the
age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to
remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your
information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may
require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that
information.
